The New York Yankees (aka the Bronx Bombers) lost stud pitcher Luis Severino for the season after the fireball pitcher suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will need good old Tommy John surgery (what pitcher doesn't get this nowadays!).
Mr. Severino was dealing with forearm soreness last week, and now will be shut down until Spring/Summer 2021.
The New York Yankees learned on Tuesday that two-time All-Star pitcher Luis Severino is facing season-ending Tommy John surgery.
